Your biggest accomplishment this month is smiling which you did on July 13 – your big brother’s 7th birthday!

We talked about what we know about you so far and this is what we came up with:

• You are observant
• you like big motions but don’t like the swing or car
• You seem to like white noise to help you sleep, especially the hair dryer
• You sleep pretty well @ night: 11:00 pm - 2:30 am or 3:00 am or 3:30 am
• You like being swaddled and resting on our chests
• You open 1 eye sometimes to check to see what’s going on and we call it the “one eyed Zack” and we joke if things aren’t interesting, you will close your eyes again
• You seem to have a lot of purpose in your hand movements already e.g. on July 3 you were reaching for your dad repeatedly
• You have a lot of vocalizations including grunts and sputtering
• You have  more hair than SPL did
• Your ears and shoulders are furry
• You are strong: even @ 2-3 weeks you are lifting up your head for 5-10 seconds and sometimes up to 20 seconds
• You hiccup a lot
• You can yell really loud!

You made some new friends during this month: the Hanson family, Mama B, Erin, mike and NGS, and Kelley, EE, and SR.  Here you are having your first bath in the tub – that wasn’t your favorite thing.  And here you are with your dad and with your grandparents and cousins.  And one of my favorite photos: flirty face and bright eyes.
