What we know about ZBL:

– he likes the swing now and will swing for 10-15 mins, especially if it also involves watching the fan

– he has learned to calm himself down; when I come in to get him in the middle of the night, he will relax when I put my hand on his chest or when he hears my voice (before he would just scream right through :-)

– he mimics and even initiates the sticking out his tongue joke

— fitful daytime sleeper: wake up frequently, cry for a bit and then fall back to sleep (usually).  Makes it hard to tell when you are finished with your nap

– started laughing

– has fuzzy hair after his bath :-)

– he has a much longer attention span, especially if it involves watching the fan, making faces with his brother, or sticking his tongue out @ his dad

– figured out his hands and can get them to his mouth successfully then makes super loud sucking noises (also gets frustrated if his bib is blocking them)

– nighttime sleeping has improved: goes to bed between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm and wakes between 3:30 am and 5:30 am

– doesn’t like getting into his car seat and is still figuring out how to be peaceful in the car but is doing better than @ 2 months

– started “talking” more towards the end of this month.  Loves it when you repeat his sounds or make sounds back to him that sound like his sounds.
