while SPL was in Austin, ZBL and I had fun in San Antonio with Grandma and Grandpa.  We (of course!) watched the trash trucks on Thursday – theirs have an arm to reach out and grab the cans!  ZBL thought that was cool (we can’t have arms in Palo Alto because of the parking: many cars park on the street as many driveways and garages are only suitable for 1 car).

After spending the weekend in Austin, we picked SPL up and headed back to San Antonio for a few days.
