6 weeks!

We were prepared, or so we thought, for week 6 which is the notorious growth spurt week. SPL’s 6th week included 24 hours of non-stop eating from which I emerged feeling like a deflated balloon. I even remember holding him up, looking him straight in the face, and saying “you can’t possibly be hungry!?!? you just ate!!?!?‘ He ate every hour for 24 hours.
Your growth spurt eating seemed to disrupt our nighttime routine more. On Monday July 23 and Tuesday July 24 you were up every 2 hours eating. But the day time was pretty normal. Dad and I were worried that you had changed over and wouldn’t return to your usual once a night wake up routine. But thankfully that wasn’t the case.
Week 6 also found us returning to the sling. Thankfully Aunt Liz and Uncle Jon had sent us one that they used with Michael (and he had outgrown). Just like your brother, you slept peacefully in the sling and I could get things done while you napped :-)
This week you also started flirting with the ceiling fan in our bedroom. It’s hilarious!
