<p>Happy Birthday Z!</p> <p>We had a fun time with the cakes. Z loves Cheerios so we decorated the little Cheerio shaped cakes with them (used a mini-angel food cake pan to bake the O shape). Z recognized them immediately and actually didn’t eat much cake as a result. John noticed that after Z had eaten some amount of the Cheerios, he screwed up his face as if to say “wow, this sugar stuff is potent!" And so it begins. </p> <p>And he didn’t pinch out the candle! But I did hold his arms just a wee bit, especially as he reached for the flame (just as John and I were blowing it out).</p>
