While John and SPL went to Yosemite for a daddy/child getaway, ZBL and I went to San Francisco to hang out with our friends Liz and Jon and their 2 amazing kids, CCG and MWG (who is 4 months older than Z :). 

The wagon was a big hit and we figured out how to take turns both pulling, when that was the desired job, and also riding, when that was most desirable (what is with these kids changing their minds all the time ;).

We rode the train (photo 2) and enjoyed wandering through the large African Savannah habitat, seeing the giraffes (MWG’s favorite animal), zebras, ostriches, and some kind of horned creature – maybe an oryx?  

All in all a fun morning.  Always great to hang out with this crew!
